Big Boy Bed!

On Tuesday, as the country got a new president, Chase got a new big boy bed! He loves his firetruck bedding, and is doing well sleeping by himself in his new, huge bed. We still need to put the finishing touches on his new decor, but we're all having fun with his new furniture and this new stage. Below are some more photos of his furniture.

Exercising!

Last Sunday, Chase started exercising on the treadmill. He walked 0.03 miles total. Not bad for a little guy! Check out the video of Chase's first time on the treadmill...even though he refused to admit it, I think he got a little tired at the end!

First Ride on the Choo-Choo

On November 23, 2008, Chase took his first ride on the choo-choo (aka, the Metro) with his friend, Beck. We rode from the King Street station to Reagan Airport, where the boys hung out for a while watching the planes and playing in the terminal.

The boys sure love those straws, and each other!

Chase got a little nervous when the choo-choo went into a tunnel.

Veterans' Day with Daddy

Chase and Lance had Veterans' Day off from daycare and work, so they spent the day having fun (and not in the house since our new foyer and kitchen floors were installed today!). It looks like the first round of leaf collection created a pile much bigger than Chase!

After playing in the leaves, Chase and Lance played in the park!

Beautiful Sunday

After two busy weekends out of town, this past weekend we mostly relaxed at home. Sunday was a gorgeous day and Chase enjoyed playing with his toys outside before lunch.

NYC Weekend!

Chase visited New York City for the first time last weekend, and he loved it. Friday night, after playing in Central Park, we had a good dinner at one of our favorite pizza restaurants, John's Pizza on 44th between Broadway and 8th. Saturday we were up early and back at Central Park (after swinging by FAO Schwartz), where we danced to a saxophone player (see the video below) and Chase sat on Balto.

Then we went to our friend Julie's building and had a picnic in her backyard with lots of our friends from law school. After Chase had a very brief nap, we walked back to our hotel in Times Square via Fordam Law School, so Chase saw where his parents met! Later we went to dinner at Applejacks Diner near our hotel. It was such a great weekend, with beautiful fall weather, good friends and fun times.

Fall Harvest Day

Chase had fun sitting on top a crate of pumpkins...

And playing some b-ball...

And sitting on a tractor!

Grammy, Mommy and Chase in the pumpkin patch!

Yesterday, Chase, Mommy, Daddy and Grammy went to Aunt Melissa's (Mommy's best friend from growing up) organic farm in Collegeville, PA for the farm's Fall Harvest Day. We had a great time picking pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, browsing in the organic market, playing games and sitting on Uncle Drew's tractor. Thanks for having such a fun festival, Aunt Melissa and Uncle Drew!
